December Lights Tam

Posted by: Kathy on: October 5, 2007

Whooo, wee!  My blogging friend Mary Jane made this gorgeous Fair Isle Tam which made it to the cover of Interweave Knits, Holiday Gifts 2007, and I can hardly wait to get started!  I haven’t seen a copy of the magazine here in California yet but saw it up for sale on a pre-order basis at Interweave Knits online here.   (On sale October 17th.) Yarn is from Rauma Finullgarn (7 skeins, all colors listed at MaryJane’s website),  and made with size 2 & 3 16″ circular needles.  (You can also see photos of all the other projects inside the issue here.)

Oh I’m thrilled that you’re going to make it! I was thinking about that yarn today and how beautiful it is….maybe I’ll figure something out with the leftovers, I saw some of those colors in the woods today….
